Vessel Routing for Planning and At-Sea
OUR GUIDANCE IS BASED ON CREW REQUIREMENTS, VESSEL PARAMETERS, AND WEATHER FORECAST
DEPARTURE PACKAGE:
Includes updated weather summary, an updated six day wind/seas forecast, updated route recommendation, plus other information as appropriate. Transmitted on a customer-defined schedule; usually every one to four days. Vessel needs email access for text updates or telephone for verbal updates.
Weatherguy.com will track your vessel on a daily basis, provided daily position and weather reports are received from the vessel. Vessel position and observed weather is compared to previously provided forecast conditions. If there are significantly different and the unexpected weather adversely affects the transit, then an immediate update will be sent at the regular update price.
For vessels having organic forecasting capabilities and expertise onboard and for those on shorter term voyages. Weatherguy.com will monitor your progress throughout the voyage and report if adverse wind and sea conditions are forecast within the next five days.
